Peter Prosser Hairdressing is one of the most prestigious hair salons in the West Midlands.
The salon is in a state-of-the-art purpose-built building in Hereford city centre. We worked alongside the builders to agree upon, commission and install the correct air conditioning system.
The system needed to overcome several challenges. The building featured a lot of plate glass which would cause heat gain during the summer months. Naturally, because it is a hair salon, considerable heat would be put into the environment from the hairdryers, lighting and associated electrical appliances. The system needed to overcome these challenges and maintain a constant ambient temperature.
We installed three units in the main salon and in the training salon and office area. They featured inverter driven compressors which are capable of heating and cooling the environment and thus offer a very energy efficient solution.
